I have owned a lot of tents anything from Walmart specials to the Cabelas Big Horn and Kodiak Canvas 10x14. I do a lot of public land hunting and prefer boat in camping when possible to get away from the chaos. This tent is the perfect size, excellent quality and for what you’re getting in my opinion it packs down to an acceptable size. I use one large tote for the tent and another large tote for my sleeping system (xl cot, sleeping pad, sleeping bag) and other small camp items. I go on these trips with a goal in mind and being able to recharge is crucial and this tent allows me to do that comfortably without any excess bulk or wasted energy. It won’t fit everyone’s needs perfectly but if you’re a solo public land hunter who isn’t interested in hauling a trailer or doesn’t have the option then I can highly recommend this tent.
These are very nice panels that match the quality of the tent. They zip on nice and provide a nice vestibule type area for putting on shoes, storing stuff under cover, etc.
Super fast delivery and great customer service. You never know when you might need these’s factory repair kits, best to have them then not. Now i just have to store them where i can find them if needed LOL.
The ground tarps are perfect and provide that extra protection from wear and tear and helps keep everything clean. I’ve been running one under the tent and one inside. Several week long elk trips and my tent looks new.
This is my first canvas product and it is fantastic! It will surely last a lifetime.
I have yet to use the Classic Jack 140 but I have set it up in the backyard and it is a beast. Very well made and simple to setup. It will be home for a couple upcoming hunts in Nov, Dec and Feb. I’m researching stoves now as I will certainly need some heat for the winter hunts.

My husband and I are just starting our camping journey. After many hours of looking online between Reddit and YouTube about what kind of tent to buy we finally settled on canvas. Yes, paid a lot more money than maybe most for just starting out but this is something that’ll last years. I will say it does an amazing job of keeping mosquitos out! Downside though is the mesh works too well. We don’t get a lot of air flow into the tent so something to be mindful of if you’re camping in warmer weather. I will say we did buy this tent as a “factory 2nd” but I see nothing wrong with it. Hands down if we did it all over again would 100% buy another Springbar. I also love some are made in the USA
After receiving my new Vagabond I set it up in the yard and am truly amazed at the simplicity of set up and Quality! Springbar defiantly sets the Gold Standard for tents! The amazing thing this tent was a second! But I cannot find the flaw! Thanks Springbar for Top Quality.
This is a top quality tent! My first canvas tent. I have motorcycle camped a lot. Small, back packing tents were great. Now I hike a lot. This tent is perfect for base camp. American made Springbar tents are awesome!
