Info: The name says it all—for the adventurous family there’s no substitute when it comes to easy setup, livable space, and reliability in harsh weather. That said, while the 10’ x 14’ footprint will easily sleep a family of four to six, it’s practically a cabin for two with space for a full bed, table, and chairs. With a deluxe feature set including 3 full-height screen windows and an integrated shade awning, the Family Camper is built to last and be loved for a lifetime.
Cut and sewn by hand in our Salt Lake City, USA workshop
Features/ Specs:
All houses in our neighborhood got damaged in 60-80 mph wind and hail storm but my springbar tent in my backyard withstood the storm like a champ, nothing has happened to the tent. What a quality. A master piece.
So far have only set the new tent up in our yard to check it out. It was amazingly easy to put up. Can't wait for our upcoming camping trip with the whole family. This tent is going to be awesome!
This tent lives up to all the hype. Most things we buy these days provides little value relative to what we pay. But in this case, the price is far too cheap. An excellent bargain for what you pay.
Do not pass go, do not collect $200, just buy a Springbar tent…and I would highly recommend going with the ones made in the USA…yes even if they are more expensive or have long lead times. The extra cost and wait will be worth it many times over. Trust me! And I’d classify myself and my family to be good sources to testify of this. Let me tell you why.
My Grandfather purchased a Springbar tent somewhere around 50 years ago so he could go camping with his only son...my Dad. (It’s old enough, the spring bars, ridge pole and side poles are set up INSIDE the tent.) We'll when my Dad got married my grandfather gifted the tent to him. I'm the second to oldest of 9 kids...7 of which are boys. So that Springbar tent has served and continues to serve not only my Dad but all 7 boys (I'm 28...the youngest is 2 years old so there's still a lot up and coming) as we've gone on scout camps, youth conferences, father's and sons camping trips, hunting trips, general family camping trips, and the occasional backyard camping! :) We take good care of our 50 something-year-old tent! (Which is key to making these tents last forever.) It's never gotten a hole, torn or leaked any water and we love it!
So why do I tell you this? Well, now I'm married and Grandpa's tent is still being used by my siblings multiple times a year so I needed my own tent for my family. I just purchased a Family Camper this year and I’m pleased to say that Springbar has as much quality in their tents today still as my family’s 50 something year old tent has. It should be noted we were gifted a $200 something tent for a wedding gift…which lasted us TWO WHOLE seasons before it broke, and when it did…it failed right when we needed it most in the middle of a rain storm. Thank goodness the extended family was with us and we could find sweet dry refuge in the old Springbar. So how much value in your book is the need to spend a couple hundred dollars every few seasons to constantly replace the cheap flimsy tent…but even more importantly…how much value do you place on your health, comfort and security when you’re out camping and the weather turns bad and you need to depend on your tent more than ever? Look no further than the Springbar tent made right here in the USA! To those of you who say you can’t afford it and you you’re looking at other options…I say you can’t afford NOT to buy a Springbar tent! In this case, the saying is 110% true. You get what you pay for.
Plus, you’ve got the fantastic Springbar team to back you up! Give their customer service a try! You won’t be disappointed!
Perhaps the final thought is how much value do you place on something not all the money in the world can buy…quality family time and lasting memories? Some of the best memories I’ve ever made with those I love most have been made up in the mountains camping. But they’re not memories of getting rained out, or the tent collapsing in the wind…rather it’s memories of people and time with them because the tent has always just worked. I know for me, there’s nothing I’d want more than to provide similar experiences and memories for my still growing family. So just buy a Springbar it’s the best tent one can buy! Quality is remembered long after price has been forgotten!
Awesome tent. It will be enjoyed for many years to come. I ordered it one day and it was delivered the next.
