Family Camper is the perfect size for a family with two kids

We bought the Family Camper because we wanted the largest size to grow into as a family of four—and it’s perfect. Spacious, comfortable, and I can stand up inside with room to spare (I’m 5'10"). We went with the Suntan color since it’s a nice balance between light and dark, great for hiding dirt and stains.

We seriously considered the CJ 140 but ultimately chose this model because it’s made in the USA, comes with aluminum poles, and we’re not planning to winter camp—though that nearly swayed us. Setup was a breeze (don’t let anyone tell you otherwise), and the construction feels rock solid.

Yes, it’s heavy—it’s a canvas tent—but that’s expected. The included bags make transport and storage manageable. The attention to detail really stands out, and we’re confident this tent will serve our family well for years to come.

              Great Classic Tent

Everything’s as expected and awesome! I echo the comment that it would be great if there was a holding strap for the main tent bag so you don’t have to bear hug it around. I tried putting the straw-like strap around my shoulder to lug the tent about 75 ft to the campsite and got a minor rope burn on my shoulder.

              Awesome tent!

READ!! Set the tent up in my backyard when I first received it. Everything looked and seemed fine. First trip out was a trout fishing in Missouri first of June. Down pours each night. Almost evacuated the first mornin was evacuated the second morning. Tent was easy enough to tear down in a timely manner to get out. As far as the tent in the rain, just a few drops in the tent “no tent treatment was applied before going out. Great tent! Easy to set up, tear down and room!
The only thing I would change is that the poles for the awnings to have a longer end for the loop connections and more holes in them for adjustment. Great tent! Best one I have ever owned!!

Great Tent for a Growing Family and EXCELLENT Customer Service

As a family of four (and counting), we love this tent. My wife and I decided to buy quality and we are so glad we did. The tent has tons of room for myself, wife, 1 young child and the pack n play for the baby, and there is more room to grow. The build quality is incredible. You can tell it's build for a life time.
We even had an issue with the tent where Springbar accidentally included the spring bars for the Skyliner. We were rather disappointed since we had planned a weekend trip to try out the new tent. We emailed customer service with pictures and they overnighted the correct bars to us so we could still go on our trip!
Excellent tent and excellent customer service. You will not be disappointed.

              Family of four PNW

Love it. Big. Durable. Lots of room. 2 kids 2 parents. Camped a rainy weekend in the PNW right when it showed up. Stayed totally dry. Awesome.
