Extra layer of protection. Easier to mend the ground tarp than mend the tent. This is heavy duty enough that it will probably never need mending.
Love the new Springbar shirt. I've been camping in Springbar tents for many years and I'm thrilled to wear the brand on my sleeve.
Was able to set up the tent all by myself and I’m 67 years old. Was a little bit of a challenge to get the second upright pole in, but I started with the shortest holes first and then extended them from there. tomorrow is supposed to rain most of the day so I figured I’d get it set up today and so that it can get seasoned.
Love that it’s the same size as the tent
I’m an amateur camper and wanted to spare no expense my first year doing Burning Man. The Classic Jack 100 was like a sweet oasis in the desert. It survived the elements (40mph+ winds, multiple rain storms, infinite dust, 100 degree days, 40 degree nights) like a champ! It took almost no effort to set up.
Whether you’re going to Black Rock City or your local camp ground, this bad boy is everything you need to thrive!
Needed to replace a tent bag that was18 years old. It held up for 18 years and the new bag seems even tougher!
I ordered a factory 2nd Vagabond with a "fabric defect" and "floor pinches." These are cosmetic errors that are extremely minor and don't affect the functionality and performance of the tent. I am thrilled with my purchase! I set it up for two days at a local state park recently. I also have an upcoming camping trip this coming week in the Adirondack Mtns. of NY state. Then later this winter I'm heading to Arizona to camp on BLM land long-term. I can't wait to put it through its paces. Thank you, Springbar!
I've been involved with scouting for over twenty years. Spent hundreds of nights in various tents. This is by far the best! I wish I would have discovered Springbar sooner. I've easily spent more money over the years on inferior tents which only last a few years before needing to be replaced than I would have if I'd started with a Springbar. Spent six of the first seven days I owned this tent camping. It rained four of the days. Night one there was a small amount of leakage. Night two an even smaller amount of leakage. Night three was only a trace amount. Night four had no leakage at all. I highly recommend this tent to anyone who'll listen.
Love it! It's easy to put up, is very sturdy, and easy to take down. Everything that came with it is good quality. The small door not in the middle of the tent is really nice for more usable space inside
This tent is high quality. I set it up to season it and add all the extra goodies, rain fly and awning side panels.
I'm also impressed with the customer service, I had a couple questions after I set it up, so emailed Springbar and got a response within minutes and they solved my issue beyond my expectations.
If you are thinking of getting a canvas tent, your search ends with Springbar.
I can't wait to use the tent this elk season.
I had no idea going to buy an early Christmas present for my daughter was going to be such a cool experience. We got to see where the tents are sewn, the immaculate and well organized warehouse and the super impressive tent garden. This small company has their act together! American made, beautiful tents. I highly recommend Springbar! Great people too!
Springbar always provided me with great quality products no matter if it’s the factory 2nds or a regular tent! Always love shopping with them and they are the first place I go to when I need field tents for research work.
