I set it up easily. Under the trees. Storm comes in a few days . I know it will help
Wow this is a beautiful tent erected with 1 person in 45 minutes.
Awesome investment for outdoor adventure for the entire family.
Well be enjoying Big Bend National Park for 1st major outing in December.
Expecting a wonderful Holiday with CJ140 at center stage!
Thanks Springbar
Greetings, After seeing a friend's new Springbar Outfitter tent camp, we checked it out for ourselves. After some time on the excellent Springbar web site, we, too, fell in love with the Outfitter, and decided it was time for us to invest in another style of camping, which did not involve crawling into and out of our backpacking tents! I had lots of questions, and Moni, from Springbar, answered every single one of them, clearly, and concisely. After we had placed our order, I realized that I had forgotten to add to most poles, to allow us to create a small awning in front of the tent. Once again, Moni came through for us, and our order shipped out the very next day. We received it in just one more day! WOW! Excellent shipping and packing! We have not had time to set up our new Outfitter, but are very much looking forward to doing so. We are already planning some camping trips to enjoy our new “camping digs”! Sincere thanks to Moni, and to Springbar for going above and beyond to answer our questions, make good suggestions, and then ship our order right away! This sort of customer service has more certainly earned our business! I will post another review as soon as we have has a chance to setup, and enjoy, our new Outfitter! Thanks, again, to everyone at Springbar! Keep up the stellar work, and God Bless!
Every Good Wish,
M&C Rutledge
I absolutely love my new tent, the color the size the craftsman shipand the size btw did i mention the size... This tent is huge and I see how it all works together now. Just seems to be a really great thought out idea & design. I am Super Silly Satisfied. I'm in love! Moved out the house into this house. Ahhh much better!! Ty soo much Springbar for my Skyliner in Driftwood!! Much Love 😊
We’d been thinking about a Springbar tent for a while and finally ordered the CJ100. Setup was a breeze, it’s plenty roomy, airflow won’t be a problem with large windows on all four sides, and it remained completely dry inside during a rainy 24hrs. Looking forward to many days and night in our new tent! 🏕️
The tarp is perfect in every way. Size. Material. Delivery speed. And with the recent special, price.
SPRINGBAR IS THE BEST.... IN EVERY WAY...
The poles are well made, appear to be very durable. The adjustments work as intended. Have been very useful with the storm cover. Turn adjustment holes toward the tent and it does not take in any water.
Will review after next trip to Rocky Mountains with my son and grandsons. I have been waiting for the Outfitter Stormfly for a long time. Thanks
We added the Vagabond to our Springbar collection so that our grownup kids and other family members can camp with us. We also have a Traveler bought around 2009 and it is still going strong.
Springbar tents are hands down our BEST and MOST FAVORITE piece of camping gear. The standing headroom is a true luxury. The design, materials, and unmatched craftsmanship makes these tents structural works of art. We have experienced strong winds and numerous heavy rain storms while staying perfectly dry and comfortable inside our Springbar tent. We will never again go back to the polyester tents, nor will we consider a cheaper clone trying to copy Springbar.
Thank you Springbar! Keep on sewing!!!
every thing looks tops/will be waiting till next trip, next year some time.
I have a few stakes a bit smaller than the Springbar stakes. Springbar is the only supplier that I could find that has the Heavy Duty stakes that we need in Arizona where it is rocky and has caliche soil (concrete). Aluminum and titanium bend and break. Springbar is worth every penny.
To be honest, I haven't used it yet, but if it functions in the same way as the other Springbar Stormfly covers, then I will be happy with it. I did unpack for the first time the Stormfly for my 10 X 10 Classic Jack, and it performed well during steady rain on the San Rafael Swell only days ago, keeping us dry and making for easier/faster take down on Saturday morning. The canvas tent body did not need as much time to dry. On all Stormfly products I would still recommend that two independent zippers be used, each one starting in the middle and zipping toward the ends. That way a larger Stormfly could be used on almost any tent with a smaller footprint and still zip onto the ridgepole, with excess on each end merely left unzipped.
I've only been on one trip so far but it held up to 30mph gusts like a champ on that trip. It was pretty easy to put up by myself and I love all the room I have now.
