Came back in stock a couple days before we were leaving for a trip out west. Took a gamble and had it shipped to our campsite because I knew it wouldn't make it before we left. Was delivered before we got there. Was super easy to install as we set up the Skyliner. Really like that it blocks/prevents tree sap and bird poo from getting on tent. And now can leave ends open without worry of rain getting in. Very well constructed. Extremely happy with both Skyliner and Stormfly.
Received just in time for a 5-day trip where I brought my 70 year old mother along. No heavy rain but enough that it was a noticeable difference from the usual canvas “misting”. She stayed very comfortable. I have the CJ100 with the regular stormfly and the one thing i really disliked was having to string out all of the extra guy lines. The main advantage of the Springbar tent vs a cabin-style is that you are free from the maze of guy lines so the stormfly on the CJ is a bit irritating. Springbar REALLY took their time to design the Skyliner Stormfly right. It is staked out with two small guys only on the ends. Not the usual tripping hazards all around the tent! I only wish it had come out when I bought the Skyliner last year. It would have saved many stains (White Birch trees are the worst) and some significant canvas-stretch from several other storms. Don’t hesitate, buy it WITH your tent purchase. Don’t buy it “later”.
