10 x 10 Stormfly for stability

I have a nylon, 10'x11' Springbar knockoff made by Coleman back in 1990. It's not a bad tent, but not very stable and storm proof. I thought the Stormfly might help with this, so I contacted the fine folks at Springbar and they were confident the two would be compatible. I placed my order and received it in about a week.

The fly fits my tent as it should. I love how the full length pocket zips over the ridge pole locking the tent and fly together. I went camping with a group of friends for three nights in up state New York last week. With eight guy straps, the tent was very stable during some gusty winds. There was no rain, but it was VERY dewy two of the mornings and the tent was dry. The nights were pretty chilly, but the fly seemed to help hold in the warmth.

Overall, I'm very satisfied with the fit and quality of my Stormfly, and setup is very straight forward. When I upgrade to a Springbar tent, which I will, I'll already have the fly.

Wonderful protection

I spent 4 rainy days camping on a slight incline up Payson canyon in Utah, just watching the downpour funneled away from our Springbar tent thanks to how I guy lined out the rainfly. Of course our tent and all inside were toasty warm thanks to Springbar tent quality. I cant wait for a chance to use the rainfly as shade! (Now, Ido wish the front / over doorway awning came out further like the door awning of our tent so our entrance and exit area had extra protection. Our tent's awning doesn't havethe center gromet to pole out a means for raon runoff.)

Traveler tent

Heard lots of good things about Springbar tents, so decide to buy the Traveler for canoe trips! I upgraded to the American made version and was not disappointed. They are well made and easy to set up! I purchased the fly for protection against the elements and am so impressed with the customer service from this company. This tent will last for many years with proper maintenance and am excited to give it a try!! Thank you for a top shelf product!! Paul

A must have for the rain events. Very well made. Easy to install. Looks like it will handle a strong wind as well.

Best rain cover EVER

even though our tent made it through a hurricane in Noeth Carolina without a drop a few years ago, we got the storm fly for an extra large protico out front this year! Stayed BONE DRY the entire time sitting outside the front tent door! 10/10
