              Compact

This is our second Springbar tent. Wanted something smaller for solo travel. Works great as expected. It would be nice if there were some loops or rings sewn into ceiling so I could string a line to hang a light.

              Second tent purchase

The compact is excellent addition. The reason for 4 stars is the nub on top of the upright poles are loose and need to be crimped better. I plan on trying to fix the issue

              Great tent for Field work

Bought this tent after I realized I might be doing field work for the rest of my life (Geo/Paleo). I originally found out about Springbars in my first field season (2022). While in camp that year all the veterans used them and recommended them. I had to save up to buy one and finally got one and used it this last summer(2023). It was a 3 week job, there was more rain in that area than it has gotten in years and the tent held up well, I was worried about water and it was dry everyday when I returned to camp. I also found that the wind resistance was great and I felt safe even in craziest storm I've ever seen in my life (40mph wind and thunder all over, with flash floods). My only complaint is that the rubber bits on the main supporting poles that support the tent up and the poles that go out to create the canopy had there black rubber tips falling off, maybe there is some reason these rubber ends are suppose to be removable? if not it was the only thing that was annoying as I was worried I would loose them. Overall I really like my Springbar and expect to have it for many years.

My first but not my last!

I am so pleased with my Compact. It is so perfect for me. I’m 65 and only 5 feet tall. I can almost stand up in it. I put a very long comfy cot, table, chair and dog bed inside. It is just the right size and easy to put up. The quality of this tent is exceptional. It is my first Springbar purchase but definitely won’t be my last.
