Originally produced in 1969, the Leisure Port was prized by boaters camping on the wind swept beaches of Lake Powell due to its resilience in high winds and its generous shade in hot weather. With a wide range of applications and set-up variations ranging from sun shade, to screen house, to storm shelter, the Leisure Port is ideal in the mountains, beach, or backyard.

LEISURE PORT COTTON CANVAS
This thing is a game-changer. We purchased the optional side panels and so our Leisure port can be open on up to four sides, screened on four sides, or fully enclosed. We're retired and just came back from spending the month of February camping in southern Arizona. During the day, the temperatures were in the 60s, but it's the desert, so as soon as the sun set, it could quickly get as low as 15 degrees. We had the 10 by 14 Classic Jack with a wood stove--which was our living/sleeping area. And the Leisure Port was our dining/eating area where between the propane stove, lantern and Mr. Buddy heater, we always had a warm, well-lit place to hang out. We can now camp in those shoulder season months and be so comfortable. Together, it was like hauling a portable two-room cabin with us. We had so much sheltered space!
Last summer, when it was hot, the Leisure Port gave us a cool shelter, open to the breeze! And we have the screen option to reduce the flies when we need it. It kept us dry in the rain too.
When the winds got super gusty (up to 40 mph) we added a few guy lines and it stayed steady.
People in smaller trailers and RVS started coming by to check it out. A sheltered dining space that rolls into a bag is such a cool thing.
I definitely recommend getting the extra panels so you can fully enclose it.
Had the chance to take this up to Vermont last weekend (4/8-11 2022). It rained and snowed on us and with the optional panel kit and a Buddy heater, we stayed warm and dry even in the low 30's temps and 30mph winds! I highly recommend it! I would also recommend purchasing the optional side panels. I'm glad I did!
Great Porduct Look nice.
love it
