              A Vintage Book

The best tent out there. We use it for bikepacking and while it's not within the usual parameters for how most people bike/backpack, we love it so much that I don't care about the weight. For regular every day camping, it's a light tent. For back/bikepacking, you need to be somewhat of a trooper to stick with it. This is our second compact and I still have the tent my father purchased in 1972. We still use his tent and as well, we own the Skyliner. We have a large property and always set up my father's tent as a 'micro-hospital' of sorts and our Skyliner as a resting tent when we have large gatherings. Our property abuts Willamette National Forest and we're in our tents as much as our home throughout most of the year.
These tents make me feel like I'm a kid in the 70's again, every time I enter one. Something about the smell and the drape of the canvas. Cannot be bested by anything. Except maybe a vintage book. Or grandma's cookies. : )
              Thank you Springbar!

              Great craftsmanship.

I will not use this tent until summer, I bought it for my trips to windsail the Alvord desert. It is everything I expected it to be. Very impressed, can't wait to use it.

It’s a birthday gift for my grandson for February. He will have to review it afterwards.

This thing is amazing, especially in high wind

I LOVE this tent. I did a truly obnoxious amount of research before deciding which tent to buy, and I'm glad I went with this one. I do this event in the desert twice a year, and I wanted something I could set up myself if need be, that I could check in my luggage when flying, and that's as bomb proof as possible. The wind at this event gets wild, and this past year we literally had 20-40 mph wind for like, 12 hours, with gusts up to at least 60 mph. Structures were collapsing left and right. But this tent was SOLID. I love it. And, I'm pretty small, so the inside is more than enough room or me.
