Easy to set up in mud and high winds

My 11 year old daughter, 14 year old son and I set this up easily, in the dark, wind over 30 knots, and with serious fatigue from a long ride. It then survived an entire night of very intense gusts of winds coming off the harbor we were camping next to. A lesser tent would have had us cold, wet, and sleeping in my truck for the night.

Slept all 3 of us in cots plus all of the gear and my 60lb German Shepard puppy. Plenty of room to walk around.

I’m sold for life on this. I just bought the Stormfly top cover. 100% you must use a ground tarp, as the mud that’s all over my tarp would instead be on the bottom of my tent.

Cleaned up easy with plain water and a loofa. I didn’t have a brush and needed to improvise.

I work remote and will be getting a lot of use out of this.

          Colorado Rocky Mountain Hi

So far I am extremely satisfied with the shipping everything got here at the same time, the stove, the tent, the shower, etc. I set up the tent by myself in about 25 minutes and completely soaked it in order to season it and there were hardly any leaks at all. I also got the medium size winnerwell stove and burned it a couple of times outside before setting it up with the kit that I ordered to place it in the tent that included the pipe fittings and the mat to place it on, and the silicone boot that goes through the additional fireproof fabric that zipped in perfectly to the triangular window on one end of the tent. I love the size of the tent I got a 10 x 14 model is going to be perfect too. Put a double bed at one end and have enough seating for four more people comfortably inside during the cozy nights that we will be using the woodstove . we have a trip planned to the Moab area in about 10 days and we are really looking forward to breaking this in officially for our first outing this year. I think everyone who comes along with us this time is going to be enjoying it as much as we do, I wish I could have afforded this when my kids were little, but now I have grandkids who will get to enjoy it. I consider it to be a very worthwhile purchase, and I am very happy with it so far

          Great Tent!

Well made, substantial material. It is not the lightest tent but I can put it up / down by myself. It's a keeper.
