Very happy!

Set it up first time in the backyard to check it out and get a feel for the set up. Was instantly impressed with the quality. Also in the 100+ heat it was significantly cooler under it with no panels for air movement. Second time up was at the lake on a fishing trip. It was great having the open side up to see the lake and have the shade. Even when the wind came up and we saw multiple easy ups blown over and even one shredded. The leisure port stood strong and had zero issues. Took five minutes to set up and that much to pack up. Kept a nice sheltered place for a day at the lake. Looking forward to many more trips in the future. Definitely going to get the extra curtains for more options in set up. So far it’s worth every penny I spent.

Awesome and Versatile

I haven't had a chance to use this in the wild yet. However we did set it up in the backyard to check it out and enjoy some shade. The possibilities/capabilities of this Leisure Port are seemingly endless. I believe I will get the additional canvas/mess attachments down the road.
Very happy with this purchase so far, and I can't wait to use it away from the house.

Camp Saver

We used this for camping on BLM land in souther Utah. Opening the flaps to expand the shade was great. When the wind came in, this held up great and when we zipped it shut we were able to play games and eat without any problems. Everyone in our camp that came inside the shelter immediately comments on what a difference having the leisure port was for relief from the elements.

Quiver Killer Tent

I finally found the Leisure Port after lots of searching for the perfect burly weather structure for shoulder season raft trips. After you set it up a couple times it's easy to set up in less than 10 mins with one person. We also use it as a tent for our farmers market business, the canvas looks great and stands out in a sea of cheap fold up tents! It truly can be set up by one person, while with a fold up tent it's awkward without two or more people.

Everything about this thing is well thought out. The floor is easily removable and acts as a perfect guide for where to stake the tent out. The floor material is a heavy duty canvas that seems like it will last eons of abuse. All the zippers and enclosure triangles are easy to operate - the zippers are extra large and have smooth action to them.

I've set this up by our local reservoir in 30+ mph winds and had no issues. Once the tent is staked down you can count on it staying put all day. I love extending one of the flaps to make an extra large shaded area, with room for a bar for mixing up all your Leisure Port margaritas.

While probably not officially recommended, I plan to have a stove jack sewn into the roof of the tent and having a small wood stove in there for winter adventures. I've seen it done before, and with a woodstove option you really have a tent that's perfect for any outing in any weather conditions.

This tent eliminates a lot of my other gear - shade structure, large group tent, hot tent, farmers market tent. Of course a canvas tent with heavy duty steel poles isn't a backpacking option, but is perfect for car camping and rafting adventures, or as an open air home perhaps if you work as a raft guide in the summers. Its versatility really sold me and we're very happy with it so far. If you ever do have issues with a product, Springbar has your back. We had an issue with a grommet and Springbar sent me a shipping label and repaired and shipped it back to me in just a few days. They are great to work with!

If you've been thinking about a heavy duty tent that you can pass on to future generations, you won't be disappointed with this.
