I haven’t yet put the storm fly through it’s paces . It is well made . I’m sure as with all Springbar equipment it will perform admiringly.
Worked as it should easy set up glad I purchased it thanks to springbar
This thing really helps the tent with the wind and just sheds water right off away from the tent. So easy to set up. Absolutely love it and it still works great rolling up one side for wood stove. Must buy in my opinion
I have set it up next to my Rv. 3 pressure treated 1/2” plywood panels make up a 10x10. I bought some metal pieces that are made to join wood together. (Think of half of a door hinges with the right amount of screws to keep plywood together) Also have about 50 little bricks keeping it level + off the ground. I hosed it with water this morning before work, thinking it’ll help seal some seam areas. It has great waterproofing characteristics, wow ! Again super quality. Im tinkering with a thin 3/8” building material called rebar that’s wrapped in green fiberglass. It’s very light and has great bending, arch bending qualities that will help one of my porch poles suspend where it needs to with a 1/2” alum angle piece across the top front. Can’t wait to try it with some wind. I’m on a postage stamp to work with. Again the Springbar is so cool, mixed with the expert stitching it stands alone with just a few stakes. It’s like a dance floor in there, and the A Frame windows and the 2 other large openings makes this a GREAT TENT FOR STAR GAZING and listening to nature. My Rv is like a house when it comes to nature sounds, (except for heavy rAiN ha ha) I’ll send you pics when it’s a little more charming 🏕️
Just back from a cold weather, windy camp. The Stormfly gave me that little bit of extra protection from the elements I needed. Easy to use. Highly recommend! Springbar should look at making tent liners for extreme cold camping.
