I have had my eye on this bag for years and finally ordered one. I love how it has a bottom and is shaped like a basket rather than an envelope. The canvas is pliable, yet sturdy. It has enough body to stand up "open." I hope it isn't too shocking to admit that I am currently using it as a knitting bag/"basket." This spacious bag holds projects large and small and, critically, will stand open allowing access. This bag would be great for so many purposes. It's not just for stakes and camp tools anymore!

when you’re on a camping trip and out in the middle of literally nowhere extra things matter a lot and you need something to organize and hold them in, these heavy duty canvas bags are great along with the extra tent accessories. Don’t leave home with out them. Remember, leave no trace.
What I like most about the Bucket Bag is the 21 oz. canvas used to make it. This bag will last for years...the fabric isn't bullet-proof but it's sturdy. For hauling tent stakes, ropes/cordage, and perhaps a hammer or small axe, or other odd-size items, it's built for that task. The snap closure at the top edge of the bag is a useful feature. I would like to see a Bucket Bag about 3-inches longer at the bottom. With a little extra length my small axe, or my mallet, or folding saw, would lie flat in the bottom of the bag. Mike, Hardin, KY
