Lifelong tent!

I did my research on canvas tents prior to purchasing and ended up purchasing the Spring Bar I have a family of four and could definitely have went for the largest tent but opted for the size slightly smaller. I didn't set the tent up anywhere prior to going camping it took me all of maybe
10 minutes to set it up I'm a fairly Avid camper prior to this. I found it easier to set up than most smaller tents that use the pole method you slide through sleeves. We went camping on about a 65° day/night the tent fully zipped up definitely held in a bit of heat, with the windows open definitely got a good ventilation. The first night it rained very heavily even though no rain was called for in my area at about 3:00 a.m. and the rain fly out front saved all of our gear that was spread around the campsite it was a quick pull underneath and the tent held up amazing not the first drop of water anywhere we had the ground tarp underneath it and at pulling up the tent and there was hardly any water on the bottom of the tent very hard rain. We found the gear net on the inside the most perplexing but was easily figured out zippers are fairly loud if you Family Camp in the middle of the night. Tent is definitely for car camping or other modality as you won't be carrying this tent very long and the tent poles are still about 5 ft long fully collapsed and the poles have a good bit of weight. Tent staking was a bit of a challenge by that I mean if you do not have a substantial hammer you will definitely have challenges I purchased the snow's Peak brass headed hammer and some forged nail stakes which were easier to put in and pull out the stakes that come with the tent have more surface area and are more difficult but the puller on the hammer made the job easy all the way around they show the hammer in the promotional video but it is not included with the tent overall a great setup that should last a very long time.

Best Tent EVER!!!!

Bought this tent specifically for an elk hunt in Wyoming. We had 50+ mph winds, and snow came in on day 4. My 13 year old son and I never got cold and never had to worry about the wind taking down our tent, while other tents in camp had troubles. If I had to say anything negative, it would be that I should have gone with a 10x14 for a little extra room, but that’s on me!! I may just purchase another one for the entire family to enjoy.

Love this tent!

The quality stands head and shoulders above any other tent I have ever owned and there have been many.

Love my Traveler - Admiral

I set this bad boy up on the windiest day ever! It was easy to set up and we didn’t have to wrestle it to the ground while we placed the stakes. It barely moved when our companion’s tents were collapsing. I love the windows that go to the floor! Finally getting a breeze when I’m laying down. Slept like a baby with no flapping. This tent is very quite. I won’t EVER use another tent!
