So far this tent has exceeded my expectations. After buying it, I immediately set it up in my backyard to get acquainted with it. It is so easy to set up, perhaps the trickiest part is getting the awning set up, but it really isn't hard at all. Real easy. Once set up, it is a real classy looking dwelling!
The feel of sleeping in canvas is so luxurious. No clammy air, now cheap plastic feel. It has this very inviting, organic, human feel. You want to hang out inside it and around it. Anyway, after setting it up, I slept in the backyard like a 10 year old kid! So pumped. I then left the tent up for a few days, as rain was expected and I wanted to see how waterproof it was. It rained for 4 days straight and not a drop of water was inside. Awesome.
Then I took it camping in Grand Teton National Park with a bunch of friends who all had camper trailers, and/or tricked out vans. Well, the star of the group camping show was the Springbar tent! Everyone thought it was real cool. So instead of buying a $100,000 Sprinter van, save yourself $99,000 and but this tent! Your #vanlife friends will be jealous!
