Beautiful pot with minor niggles

This pot brews just the right amount of great coffee for 6 people with looks that nothing else can come close to at a very fair price. The steel is thick enough to resist dents and it develops a beautiful patina - if negligible rust around the spot welds.
I just wish it could hold more grounds of coffee so I had the option to brew it thicker and that there was a feature to isolate the lid from the glass to prevent it from shattering should the campfire get too hot.

This thing rocks, built like tank

I bought Winnerwell on a hunch, seeing it looked well made (at least online). It’s beefy, SS construction and made in the USA. I had the chance to compare a couple other brands at a local big box, who were charging $40 for what looked like a tin can by other reputable camping gear companies which were made in China. Now, I’ve yet to brew any coffee in it, but will be doing so in the near future. This review is only based on the quality of build and SS construction. Will update once I get my perc going.

great

Brought this based on reviews. Wanted to be able to brew more coffee than currently able to.
Did this on an electric stove. With old coffee pot would turn down to 8 setting for 1/2 hr. With this pot once it starts to perk had to turn down to #1 or water would overflow. So perked a little longer. Made great coffee.
Well built, good engineering. Highly recommend.
