First Trip

Went to Skyline Drive in Virginia and the wind blew the first night. Tent performed as advertised, it was solid!

Toughest Tents!

Springbar tents are simply the best tents for our outfitted fly fishing trips on the Deschutes and John Day Rivers. We get a lot of heavy wind, storms which used to destroy our lightweight backpacker-style tents year in and year out. Since we switched to Springbar Vagabond tents we have been extremely happy with their build, durability, and functionality. Our customers love the tents - they call them their mini cabins. We foresee using these tents for many many more years. They are meeting the challenges thrown at them by the Oregon desert. Thanks for making a great product and for standing behind it! Night 1-3 in the Springbar Vagabond Admiral

Well. I set it up in the back yard overlooking Lake Palo Pinto with in 45 minutes of its arrival, which was dead on schedule as promised. Pulled the trigger on a Springbar after much research between the various wannabes and SB. Super Easy set up, great instructions and online vids that I had studied before delivery. Had an overflow crowd coming to our Lake-house so decided to retreat to the back yard with Markie the rescue dog. The tent site was on a cliff some 40 feet above a near west Texas Lake, lots of wind. I’ve camped all my life sporadically, old Canvas Shed style with no zipper closure, to a variety of short height dome tents. By far the Vagabond is the best sleep I’ve had in a tent in recent memory, and at 65 that’s a hard thing to admit. No flapping light weight nylon, no tent fly, I even pre treated the canvas with mist from a hose with a misting nozzle. This old man is sold on Springbar, as somebody that i has 30 years working with Architectural Designers you tend to gravitate to well thought out designs that have the test if time. I found that in Springbar. Next trip for Markie the Rescue dog and I is Texas to Ohio and back 14 days, got all the cold weather comfort to sleep and the assurance that the shelter over our heads is the best that we can have. Thanks Springbar glad to be a part of the family- Jon Salis Palo Pinto Texas

Good quality

Had issue with stormfly bag stitching but was taken care of. The only bummer was ten days after receiving my order they now give free ground tarp and free shipping that would have saved me 120..00
