Traveler Footprint

This ground cover is thick and rugged. I bought the 10x10 Traveler footprint because I wanted something better than the usual thin tarps. It turned out even better than expected. Buy this footprint, and you will not be disappointed.

Great tarp!

Used this tarp last weekend on our FIRST outing with our new Highline 6 tent. Of COURSE it poured...it wouldn't be camping. The tarp (and rain guard) protected the tent and we stayed nice and dry. Love Springbar! Great products. Very well made. Highly recommend.

Highline 6

I recently purchased a highline 6. I have only set it up in my backyard so far. It is great quality. I sprayed down the tent to season the canvas. I soaked the tent with a hose after it was set up. I unzipped the tent to see how waterproof the tent seemed to be. There was not a drop of water in the tent after soaking it with a hose.

Not a 10x10 as advertised: metric units in China

While I agree that it qualifies as “heavy duty” compared to most ground tarps of its category, I found it not representative of the advertisement on two accounts. First is likely a result of outsourcing in China where metric units are standard: the tarp is 3 x 3 meters- which falls 3+ inches short on each side. Even where clearly the material is sewn to provide additional size. Second, and this is confessedly a buyer-beware point on my side, the tarp as depicted let’s the observer conclude that both sides are equally robust. This is not the case: there is a “smooth” side and the tougher one depicted in the in-line advert. For half the money it would have been less disappointing. Try a local fabric shop or tent repair shop first and see about an authentic American made-to-fit ground tarp.
