Not sorry I purchased! Fan/customer for life!

Ok, This was my 3rd purchase from Springbar, a Factory 2nds Vagabond (I have a Family Camper, Outfitter, -and now- 2 Vagabonds and a Compact-We go camping in a group and at different campgrounds we sometimes need smaller tents due to the size of the site) For the life of me I cannot find the "stitching errors" that were stated. The Vagabond held up great in snow, wind and rain/hail/sleet! I left it up for a couple months and yes, I did use it in all those conditions. If anyone is contemplating because of the normal price (worth every $$ in my opinion) this is a great way to save a few bucks on a still great product. Super easy to set up by 1 person in less than 10 minutes and is super duty! SB says "Tough as nails", they're wrong...LOL I say "Built like a tank" even the Factory 2nds.

This is my second 2nd!

So happy with the factory 2nds that I bought two! I have an outfitter and a compact. Both arrived very quickly and the “defects” were not noticeable at all on the first one I bought, the outfitter. The compact has a patch that was clearly described so I knew what to expect. It causes no problems whatsoever. I took the compact on a coastal camping trip immediately after I received it and had no issues whatsoever with the patch. Highly recommend buying a factory 2nd!

Hesitant? Read this review.

Price/cost-I am the type that likes a good deal, however, I also want the best quality which ultimately means the deals I end up with cost a bit more overall. I also am incredibly “researchy” which is a truly magnificent trait when you don’t have to deal with it all the time. This personality of mine brings forth a toss up when searching for a bargain as I refuse to sacrifice quality and will spend countless hours finding the best of the best.

I toyed around with the idea of purchasing full price for a couple weeks, because honestly now that I have the tent I completely stand behind the cost. I also waited for a couple releases to see if anything made me jump on the “checkout button”. I even called the company, asked about the factory seconds options, emailed them, asked for photos etc. The companies customer service is top notch and they happily obliged.

Additionally- I’m sensitive to odors and while there is a slight chemical smell when you initially set the tent up it’s gone in a matter of hours. No flame retardants, safe for my family and size wise the tents huge and looks great. Second night using the tent in Florida we were hit with a torrential downpour and a lightning storm, not sure how the tent would do if hit by lightning but I can attest that it didn’t leak at all. A+

Setting the tent up/ease of use- I’m a single mom and I set up the 10x14 family camper in a matter of 15-20 minutes at midnight with a five inch flashlight held by an 11 year old who wanted to be in the car while I did it. It’s simple and sturdy. No expletives, no confusion, just a quick look at the directions and repeatedly encouraging the light bearer to “please stop shining the flashlight in my eyes”.
I hope I’ve saved you a lot of time because all you have to do is read my review to know it’s worth it-buy the tent! Don’t wait, don’t second guess it, it’s perfect. Thanks Springbar for already helping my family make memories.

Springbar is the absolute best in both tents and people!

I've camped everywhere in my Traveller, all across the western U.S. and Canada in all kind of weather, including high winds in Montana that left every single other tent blown down. I slept like a baby, thinking it was just light winds, only to find the next morning that half the campground had left for motels or slept in their vehicles. I think Springbar got a few sales from that event, and even the campground hosts bought one. My Traveller was an exceptional tent and I sold it only after health reasons forced me to abandon camping (fractured vertebrae).

I recently bought another, only to realize I was being too optimistic about my abilities to camp, and I had to return it. I can't say enough about how well the people there took care of me. I've never experienced such exceptional service and genuine care. You will never go wrong with Springbar. They exhibit the high standards that are the backbone of Made in America and they've reaffirmed my belief in caring people.
