I grew up camping in nothing but Springbars. I never new there was anything else. When I started camping in other tents I always thought they were flimsy. So when my husband and I were looking for a tent I went back to my childhood favorite. We live in the Pacific Northwest and used the Highline 6 out on Orcas Island. It worked great. We had tons of room for a queensized air mattress and the awning even provided good cover to cook pancakes one morning when it was raining. It poured rain and we did experience a little condensation in the tent but we dried it out when we got home. and it looks like everything held up great! My parents still have the tent they bought over 30 years ago when they got married and I know mine will last just as long.
