I finally got to use my outfitter on a northern Minnesota hunt. It held up pretty well in a torrential thunderstorm that lasted over a hour. It remained dry except for a couple droplets but I wasn’t disappointed because of the intensity and the heavy heavy rain. I gently touched a edge of paper towel to the droplets and it was fine thereafter. I’m very satisfied, it was the right purchase for me. Buying the ground tarp was a good idea as it saved the floor from being in direct contact with the earth. The zippers are nice but getting buttoned in and then needing to exit requires undoing at least 3 to get out but I knew that when I bought it. I also had brought along some “spike” stakes as where I was going had more rocky terrain, glad I did as the supplied ones wouldn’t go in very far. I was comfortable once set up and glad I went with Springbar.
