Tough bag different closure

This bag is a slightly different size from my original bag. Of course I would expect changes after 20-plus years of use. This bag is durable and water resistant. I tested it during a camping trip and it held up nicely. I am not a fan of the rope closure. It works for the awning ropes but not for closing a bag. I would prefer a type of cam closure or perhaps a loop in the rope. The wood bar on the rope works best when user constant tension. Once the tension is released, the bag opens up again. While this is not a huge issue, it does raise concerns that some of the bag contents may spill out. Thus the four star rating. Otherwise, this is a solid bag.
